Stories of Scent will Return in April

I had hoped to continue writing Stories of Scent for the remainder of this month — especially for paid subscribers. But I am in the midst of moving and this week admitted defeat in that there was absolutely no way I could turn out a quality post or podcast whilst going into the final phase of the move.

Since last autumn I have been anticipating this move and it has not been without its challenges. I have managed to keep on top of my business until this final phase. It’s right up there as one of the most stressful things I have been through on this planet, and there have been a few! Coordinating a house sale — while working from home with a dog — and then going through many decisions on where I wanted to move to (it ended up being a complete 180 on what I had originally planned), finding a place, having that fall through, and then not knowing until the final minute if my ultimate chosen home would finalize has challenged me. Not to mention the sleepless nights on the “What ifs?” and “Should I’s?”

But today my new home finally closed and I am set to move in next week - but not before I have a new water heater and heat/cool installed. Then there’s the whole house renovation to live through on the other side. Did I mention it’s a 1920’s historic fixer upper?! But here we are — here *I* am — and I am so grateful (and proud of myself going it alone) to have made it this far.

So, once I have resituated myself on the other side, I will make up for lost time with my paid subscribers in April by writing one paid post per week vs the usual paid post per every two weeks.
