The 1920s are a period in time which are now over a century ago. Yet, some things never go out of style. 1920s fashion is still popular today. I have to admit that I love everything about 1920s fashion - and this coming from a gal who really doesn’t have much interest in the subject!
But what about scent? Do the perfumes of the 1920s stand the test of time in the 20s of today? My latest perfume, Brown-eyed Brooks was inspired by a 1920s icon of the time Louise Brooks. I translated her story, both personal and of the time period, into what I perceived to be a representation of that scent story. The flapper age brought about the beginnings of the “modern” woman.
Let’s see what many 1920s women were wearing as a fragrance.
